What We Treat
At Pivot Physio, we provide specialized care for pelvic floor dysfunction across all stages of life. Our focus is on resolving the conditions that interfere with your comfort, confidence, and daily function.
Below are some of the most common issues we treat.
Women’s Pelvic Health
We treat pelvic floor conditions including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, and bowel dysfunction across all stages of life. Our treatment plans integrate pelvic floor muscle retraining, neuromuscular re-education, and manual therapy to restore control, comfort, and function.
Men’s Pelvic Health
Our care for men includes treatment for chronic prostatitis, pelvic pain, erectile dysfunction, post-prostatectomy recovery, urinary incontinence, and bowel dysfunction. We deliver private, individualized evaluations and evidence-based interventions targeting pelvic floor muscle performance, nerve sensitivity, and post-surgical recovery.
Pelvic Pain Management
We treat pelvic pain in both men and women, including conditions like pudendal neuralgia, interstitial cystitis, prostatitis, endometriosis, pelvic floor myalgia, and dyspareunia.
Our approach combines musculoskeletal and neuromuscular assessment with targeted manual therapy, movement retraining, and pelvic floor rehab to reduce pain and restore function.
Pregnancy & Postpartum Rehabilitation
We provide evidence-based care during and after pregnancy to address diastasis recti, pubic symphysis dysfunction, cesarean or episiotomy scar pain, pelvic girdle dysfunction, and postpartum core weakness. Our goal is to optimize function, reduce pain, and support recovery through each trimester and into the postpartum period with tailored therapeutic strategies.
Post-Surgical Pelvic Rehab
Following procedures such as hysterectomy, prostatectomy, pelvic organ prolapse repair, or pelvic mesh removal, we provide specialized rehabilitation to support tissue healing, scar mobility, pelvic floor function, and overall recovery.
Therapeutic goals are centered on restoring mobility, addressing post-surgical complications, and returning to daily activities with confidence
Bowel and Bladder Health
We evaluate and treat conditions such as urinary urgency, frequency, incontinence, constipation, incomplete emptying, fecal incontinence, and dysfunctional toileting habits. Our patient population includes children, teens, and adults. Treatment focuses on behavioral strategies, pelvic floor muscle coordination, neuromuscular retraining, and toileting mechanics.
Orthopedic Pelvic Integration
Many persistent orthopedic symptoms, such as chronic low back pain, hip pain, or core instability, are linked to pelvic floor dysfunction. We assess how your body moves as a whole, then build a treatment plan that improves strength, alignment, and coordination for lasting relief. We are unique in seeing your body through an integrated orthopedic and pelvic lens.
You’ll never feel rushed. Every visit is your space to be seen, supported, and truly prioritized.
